The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (PKS) launched a social media campaign on the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom, and the National Flag, during which it will present 50 startups shortlisted to participate in the world’s largest technology event—Web Summit in Lisbon.
Over the next 50 days, PKS will feature Serbian startups that merge innovation with heritage on its social media channels. The first startup presented is LENA AI, which is transforming digital learning, with presentations of 23 more winners from a competition held at PKS at the beginning of September to follow in the coming days.
The top 24 startups, organized and fully supported by PKS, will attend the Web Summit, scheduled for November 11-14 in Lisbon. Featured at the Serbian Pavilion will be: FeJuice, Curious Sparrow, VeloxDB, GuideLites, SignAvatar, WellPet.ai, Beeamond, Vinaver Medical, ByTech, Dynamic Mockups, ArchFix, Sneg, WPT ENERGY DOO, Artemi, WhereToPark, Xcentric IT (Bizhive), OROOK, DigitaLLeather doo, Kinestas Machines doo, Smart Lena, CareerfIT, Benefiti, Tourism Software Solutions, and The Social Formula.
Startups that did not make it into the top 24 will still receive support from PKS in Lisbon through meeting scheduling and partner connections, along with high-quality training for all participants, which will last three months. Experts working with Serbian startups in Belgrade, Lisbon, and online come from Canada, England, Portugal, and South Africa.
This year, Lisbon is expected to host over 71,000 participants from 160 countries, including more than 2,600 startups, 340 partners, and over 1,000 investors. The Web Summit in Lisbon will also bring together heads of state, government officials, diplomats, as well as founders and CEOs of the world’s most influential tech companies and fast-growing startups.
