Germany’s IGB Automotive to employ 200 people in Lajkovac

The German company IGB Automotive, which produces car components, will launch production in the town of Lajkovac (central Serbia) at the beginning of November, where it will subsequently employ 200 people. This was announced by the municipal administration.

Production will begin shortly because the company has already found a suitable facility owned by the Sani Komerc Company.

“Recruitment of future workers has already begun, 90% of whom will be women, followed by their training,” the company said. The company’s director general in Serbia, Dalibor Berić, underlines that the Lazarevac production unit and the Lajkovac production unit will together produce around 200,000 car seat heating systems per week.
