Woody World to start production in Priboj in 2017

Representatives of the local self-government in Priboj and the Dutch company Woody World signed an agreement on the lease of the 3,000-square-metre production facilities in the brownfield section of the Priboj Free Zone on 14th December.

The Dutch company will produce exclusive recreational prefabricated houses under favorable business terms offered by the Free Zone, and export them from Priboj to West Europe.

Woody World has a long tradition in manufacturing modular recreational prefabricated houses and has production capacities in the Netherlands and Croatia.

One of the three co-owners and the director of the company, Bernard Kordic, born in Priboj, says that the completion of the adaptation of the production space in the Free Zone is expected to be launched in the first half 2017, whereas the production process is planned to start in June 2017.

According to the company’s business plan, the initiation of the second phase has been projected for 2018, which entails the production of furniture and equipment for the interior and the exterior of modular recreational prefabricated houses.
