The low-cost airline Wizz Air has announced that it is going to launch a regular flight from Belgrade to Lyon from June 15, each Tuesday and Saturday.
Tickets can be booked at wizzair.com or through the airline’s mobile app, and the prices start at RSD 3,649/EUR 29.99, the company says in its press release.
Wizz Air has been operating in Belgrade since 2011 and has since transported over 4 million passengers on its flights from Serbia. Over 800,000 passengers used the services of this airline in 2018, a growth of 6% compared to the previous year.
Passenger transport capacities have been increased to 921,000 for 2019. With the new line, the company will now have 14 lines from Belgrade to 7 countries. Wizz Air announces that it will support close to 700 jobs in Serbia this year alone.
Wizz Air is the biggest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, which fleet comprises 109 aircraft, and offers flights to more than 650 destinations from 25 airports in 44 countries.
