The Tacari Company, an Italian leader in the production of components for motor vehicles and electric cars, is planning to invest in Serbia, and our country is the most attractive option when it comes to the company’s decision on further investment, Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarović said.
“I expect them in Serbia in the next 15 days, when we will continue discussions and start negotiations in which we will lobby for our country. Their investment plan is for this year,” Mesarović said.
She explained that the company is primarily engaged in the casting of aluminium parts for engine production and pointed out that its main clients are global brands such as Ducati, Lamborghini, Maserati and Ferrari.
“Tacari also has its own production of small electric cars. At full capacity, they produce self-driving vehicles independently, and they are interested in further expansion into the European market,” Mesarović said.
