Wieland Electric planning to build new factory in Preljina

The representatives of Wieland Electric, Oliver Eitrich and Ulrich Schaarschmidt, announced this Thursday, November 29th, 2018, while visiting Cacak, hiring more workers by the end of the year.

They also met with Cacak Mayor, Milun Todorovic to discuss the construction of a new production facility in the industrial zone in Preljina, where they expect to employ around 600 new workers.

At the meeting with the representatives of the local government, they expressed their satisfaction with the beginning of the production process, the good choice of the workforce and the good cooperation with the town authorities.

To remind, Wieland Electric Serbia launched their production in a rented space on October 8th, 2018, and so far, has employed 50 workers out of the 300 people that sent job applications.

Cacak is the first city in Serbia, but also in the Balkans, in which Wieland Electric has opened its production facilities. CEO of Wieland, Dr Oliver Eitrich says that the reasons the company chose Cacak over other towns are the close proximity to the Technical Faculty, the motorway and the cooperation with Mayor Todorovic.

Wieland Electric GmbH is a family-owned company in the electrical and electronics industry and is headquartered in Bamberg, Germany. The company was founded in 1910.
