Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic’s PR team is preparing for a possible runoff in the presidential elections after the latest opinion polls showed that he might win as much as 51 percent of votes on Sunday, with a three percent of margin of error.
The sources within Vucic’s Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) said their chief marketing expert Asaf Eisin demanded to see promotional videos of Vučić’s main oponent, Zdravko Ponos, after opinion polls put him in the second round.
„Vučić’s videos would be broadcast immediately after April. The activities related to the second round of presidential election would specifically focus on the Serbian voters from Kosovo who have to come to central Serbia to vote and are expected to support Vucic by a majority,” the source said.
Asked if they were preparing for the runoff, the SNS said that their organisation was always ready for all possible outcomes.
