During the last meeting of the Serbian and Russian presidents in Moscow on 8th May, it was announced that Russia would actively monitor the talks between Belgrade and Pristina, and in particular the influence of the international factors on this issue, as well as that it would respond in a timely manner. Vucic then underlined that it was impossible to find any solution for the Kosovo problem without the consent of Russia in the United Nations.

The next month’s meeting of the two officials will be their 13th official meeting and the 3rd since Vucic was elected head of state. As announced earlier, Putin is supposed to come to Serbia in November.

After Moscow, Vucic will have the next opportunity for talks about the Kosovo issue with the world leaders in China, where he, following the invitation from the Chinese President, Xi Jinping, will be a guest at the World Economic Forum, the so-called Summer Davos, which will be held from 18th to 20th September, in Tianjin, China.

A week later, the Serbian president will have the opportunity to discuss the same issue and other important topics with numerous world officials who will come to the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Vucic will stay from 24th to 28th September in America, when he is also due to meet with the US President, Donald Trump.
