Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vučić said he had not yet signed the Law on Expropriation because he was waiting for the opinion of his legal team.
“I don’t think I have signed the law, which is very important for some people even though they have no idea what the law is about and are pretending to be naive,” he said, responding to a question about whether he had signed the expropriation and referendum laws. As for the Referendum Law, he said he signed it on his return from Sochi. Both laws are deemed as controversial by the public which has protested in the streets against them.
The President added that he also has not yet signed the Customs Law and the Property Tax Law. “I am waiting for my legal team to give their opinion tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, so, we’ll see,” he said.
