Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic will attend the Serbia-North Rhine-Westphalia business forum, which will be held today in Düsseldorf, at which he will meet with German investors to talk about the possibilities for investing in Serbia.
Representatives of 100 German business people from over 50 companies from the automotive, chemical, machinery and telecommunications branch from the German province of North Rhine-Westphalia, which has population of 18 million and is one of the economically strongest provinces in the country, will attend the Forum.
The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, Marko Cadez says that our country will present business opportunities to German companies both in the field of investment and finding new partners and suppliers from Serbia. Two Serbian companies – Roaming Networks and Via Ocel, both operating in Germany – will also participate in this forum.
It is interesting to note that the biggest number of contracts where Serbian companies were chosen as suppliers for the Germany mechanical and electrical industry were concluded with the companies from North Rhine-Westphalia.
The available data shows that Germany is one of the largest investors in Serbia and has invested more than 1.9 billion euro in our country so far.
