Viber banking to be made available in Serbia too?

During the round table titled “How we will be paying in the future?”, held at the Kopaonik Business Forum,  Rakuten Viber’s sales director for Central and Eastern Europe, Konstantin Kostadinov, referring to a service introduced in some countries such as Romania, Hungary and Ukraine, which allows money to be transferred from one account to another, said that the payment service using the Viber software would be possible in Serbia if there was enough interest in it.

As he said, users want to streamline the use of their applications as much as possible and want a place from which they will be able to perform as many operations as possible.

“Speed, security, privacy and cost control should be priorities in the payment sector,” Kostadinov said.

The Managing Director of iPay see Serbia, Marko Petrovic, said that existing technologies need to be redesigned to make electronic payment easier for users.

“Many participants can interact, but in reality you will always choose a user experience above everything,” said Petrovic.

Ivan Vucinic, Director of Information Technology CKB Montenegro, believes that the banking system has high expectations and is always expected to meet the needs of customers.
