Vasil Hadzimanov to perform with Cuban flamenco band Ecos Company in Belgrade

The Cuban flamenco band, Ecos Company, will perform at the Musicology Barcaffč Sessions, on October 17th and 18th at the Bitefartcafe club. The popular Serbian musician, Vasil Hadzimanov will join them on stage, so the audience will have a unique opportunity to hear the blend of Cuban passion and Serbian temperament in music.

This music and dance show is performed by seven musicians and five dancers and this is the first time ever that a show like this is performed in Belgrade.

Ecos is one of the most appreciated flamenco bands that explores the integration of Cuban and Hispanic dance elements, revealing a new artistic expression. Mixing elements of Flamenco, Bolero and Rumba, through its music, Ecos Company perfectly reflects the cultures of the mixed population of Cuba.

Ecos Company was founded in 1999, by experienced Cuban musicians and dancers and is known for performing the songs of academically trained artists in Cuba. After performing at international festivals, major shows and theatres around the world, they came to Belgrade, to perform at the Musicology Barcaffche Sessions in an intimate atmosphere. The audience will enjoy the passion of this particular type of flamenco. This project was supported by MACUBA, the Friendship Association between the people of Macedonia and Cuba.

Tickets for the performance of Ecos Company are sold at Eventim outlets and by DDtickets, as well as online. Knower and Kezih Jones are going to perform after Ecos Company.
