United Arab Emirates finance new textile factory in Raska

A foundation slab of the textile factory that will be built in the village of Draganici near Raska and employ 400 people was laid today.

A sheikh from the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed Bin Zayed gave 9 million EUR for the factory to be constructed.

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic was also present at the event and said on the occasion that the facility would span 11,000 square metres and have up to 400 employees.

Vucic also announced that a ski centre on the Golija Mountain would have been built by 2018 which would immensely benefit Raska and its neighbouring municipalities while Serbia will get a facility that will attract foreign tourists too.
