The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, will host his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who will arrive for a two-day official visit to Serbia starting today.
During the Turkish Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu’s recent visit to Belgrade, it was said that during President Erdogan’s visit a number of interstate agreements would be signed, which, as expected, should give further impetus to the development of bilateral relations. Çavuşoğlu also said that there are two challenges for Turkey in this region: the first is the political crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the second is the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
The Serbian member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik, said that he will discuss with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina tomorrow, the projects related to the Belgrade-Sarajevo motorway, adding that it will be interesting to hear what Erdogan thinks about global developments, especially since Turkey has an important position regarding the Ukrainian crisis.
Dodik also noted that Erdogan is a great statesman who has so far shown a very clear attitude in everything.
