Darko Glavas, the Acting Secretary for Defense Affairs, Emergency Situations, Communication and Coordination of Citizens Relations, announced that public utility companies Beogradski Vodovod I Kanalizacija and Gradska Cistoca will make tanks with drinking water available to citizens during the hottest part of the day, from 10am to 6pm.
The tanks will be positioned in Zeleni Venac, Trg Republike, Trg Nikole Pasica, near TC Usce, near the building of the Municipality of Novi Beograd and the Belgrade Fair.
Glavas added that the tanks will be there as of Thursday.
He appealed to fellow citizens to rationally consume water in the hottest part of the day. “The entire public utility system in Belgrade will rationally use water during these high temperatures”, Glavas told Beoinfo.
