This morning, at 8:15 am, a church service in memory of the assassinated Kosovo Serb politician, Oliver Ivanovic was held at St. Sava Temple in the presence of his family, Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and a number of citizens.
Today marks exactly a year since Ivanovic has been assassinated.
In addition to Ivanovic’s widow, Milena and his son, the remembrance candles were also lit by the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Marko Djuric and the Defence Minister, Aleksandar Vulin.
A number of citizens gathered in front of the temple to attend the service.
Oliver Ivanovic was killed with several gun shots to his back while he was entering the premises of his party in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica. The perpetrators of this crime have not been identified as yet, although investigations have been conducted by both Pristina and Belgrade authorities.
