The construction of the new University Children’s Hospital Tiršova 2 began in October in Belgrade and the work is expected to be completed by 2024.
The works on the first phase of the 4Po+2Su+P+Te+4 building have been entrusted to the companies Novkol, Sky Technologies, WD Concord West and Srbija-autoput, and the value of the works amounts to EUR 6.23 million (excluding VAT), including preparatory works on the site.
As mentioned, the first phase of the construction work will last 210 days.
The complex will span around 60,000 square metres, of which 30,000 square metres will be dedicated to medical purposes with 8 state-of-the-art operating theatres and 36 intensive care beds.
The complex is designed for a total of 286 hospital beds in 154 rooms. A garage with more than 520 parking spaces is also planned. The hospital will have direct access from the motorway.
