The oldest documentary film festival in Serbia to take place on March 26th

The oldest documentary and short film festival in Serbia – the March Film Festival – will take place at Belgrade’s Dom Omladine from 26th to 30th March this year.

This 70-year-old festival and the oldest festival of this kind in Serbia will showcase 98 films in total (80 of them premieres) this year which will also compete for the Festival’s Grand Prix in different categories.

The Festival will be divided into three segments – “The Global Panorama”, “The Regional Panorama” and “The National Panorama” – and will feature films about Yugoslav all-girl bands from the 1960s, the famed Croatian basketball player Toni Kukoč and the famous Russian film director Andrei Tarkovsky, among others.
