The Italy in Fashion exhibition at Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade

Acting director of the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade, Marko Krstić, has announced that starting May 5, the Museum will stage an exhibition called “Italy in Fashion” which will present 50 dresses by Italian designers that actresses wore in iconic films from the 1950s and 1960s.

“It will be a great story – to bring Italy back and evoke an era that gives rise to sentimental emotions. Just think of the film “Ljubav i Moda”, Beba Lončar and unforgettable songs sung by Vlastimir Đuza Stojiljković,” says Krstić.

Vesna Mandić, the owner of the Fabrika fashion agency, and her creative team should also be credited for this exhibition coming to Belgrade.

The Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year.
