Director-General of the Novi Sad Fair, Slobodan Cvetković, has announced that the International Agricultural Fair will be held May 21-27 in Vojvodin’s capital, with Hungary as the main partner country this year.
“For us, as organizers, the most important thing is that we have come out of the pandemic. This year we will have 1,100 exhibitors. Compared to 2019, we are at 75 percent of the Fair’s capacity,” Cvetković said at a press conference, adding: “Along with several group exhibitions, Morocco will exhibit for the first time at our fair. The other segments will be the same as in previous years. I would like to thank the Ministry of Agriculture which is our patron in the animal husbandry and fruit growing segments. This year the animal husbandry segment will be very well represented.”
Cvetković remarked that Thursday, May 26, will be the “Day of Livestock Breeders,” and on that day the Evening of Champions event will take place, at which exhibited domestic animals will be evaluated and given scores.
