The 23rd traditional Book Night started on Monday and will last until Friday, December 18, in the bookstores “Laguna” in 30 cities of Serbia and the region, as well as on the websites of this publishing house and the Delfi bookstores.
During the Book Night, discounts for purchased books range from 20 to 40%.
While the Book Night lasts, Laguna gives a 25% discount on all of its editions if you purchase one book, 30% for two, 35% for three and 40% for four or more books.
Over 100 publishers have joined the event and are offering discounts starting at 20%.
The event organizers say that in order to avoid crowding in bookstores and preserve the good health of employees and readers, discounts will be valid for all five days, until Friday, December 18 in bookstores, as well as on the sites of Laguna and Delfi, with free delivery in Serbia.
Among others, the following bestsellers are discounted – Fredrik Backman’s new novel “Beartown”, “Love Your Life” by Sophie Kinsella, “Hamnet” by Maggie O’Farrell , “A Game of Thrones” by George R.R. Martin, Jack Kerouac’s autobiographical novel “The Dharma Bums”, as well as new books by local authors, “Ja to tamo pevam” by Dušan Kovačević, “Tito i ja” by Goran Marković, “Neonski bluz” by Dejan Stojiljković…
Younger readers are also entitled to discounts. For them, the bookstores have prepared the new adventures of Tom Gates in the book “Yes! Not, maybe…” and in the illustrated “Childhood of Famous People” with 25 personal stories of growing up.
