The average salary in Serbia in December last year amounted to 74,629 dinars, which is nominally 12.9% higher than in the same month of 2020, with the real increase in average salary standing at 4.6% – the State Statistical Office has said.
The median net salary for December amounted to 53,349 dinars, which means that 50% of employees received a salary up to that amount. The median gross salary was 102,196 dinars, a nominal increase of 12.5% compared to December 2020 and a real increase of 4.3%.
The growth in net wages in January-December 2021, compared to the same period last year, was 9.6% in nominal terms and 5.4% in real terms, and in gross wages 9.4% in nominal terms and 5.2% in real terms.
