The Alek Kavčić Foundation, produced by the Teatrijum Theatre, is organising a Children’s Theatre Marathon, which will be held from 16th to 25th July at Dorćol Platz, starting at 6 pm every day.
Over the course of the ten festival days, school-aged children and their families will have the opportunity to enjoy a diverse programme of theatre, musical, and ballet performances tailored for the youngest audiences, completely free of charge.
The marathon features a carefully selected line-up of plays that encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love for the theatre through play, imagination, humour, fairy-tale themes, and artistic expression. The repertoire will include titles such as The Land of Fratellia, Why Are You Telling Me Fairy Tales, Puss in Boots, Around the World, Alice in Wonderland, The Little Jungle Crew, The Four Seasons, Little Shoes, Quarrelsome Mica, and The Sun and the Moon.
Please note that admission to all events is free, but seating capacity is limited to 200 places per performance. Visitors are therefore advised to arrive in good time.
The grand finale of the festival on 25th July will be topped off with a concert by the family band French Stew, alongside some surprise guests.
The full festival programme is available on the social media channels of the Alek Kavčić Foundation, the Teatrijum Theatre, and Dorćol Platz.
