The 54th Belgrade Music Festival BEMUS will be held from 1 to 15 November under the slogan “Zavodljivo…kao muzika!” with a very rich programme covering a wide stylistic range, from Renaissance and Baroque to contemporary music.

The renowned pianist Ivo Pogorelić performs on 7 November with a programme of Chopin’s music from his latest CD released by Deutsche Grammophon. The BEMUS will present two exceptional young artists to the Belgrade audience for the first time – Korean violinist Bomsori Kim, winner of numerous competitions, will be the soloist at the RTS Symphony Orchestra concert on 5 November, conducted by Venezuelan Manuel Lopez-Gomez, and Spanish pianist Martin García García, last year’s winner of the Warsaw Chopin Competition, will close this year’s BEMUS on 15 November with the Virtuozi Orchestra.

The Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra will perform under the direction of its principal conductor Aleksandar Marković, with soloists, soprano Maida Hundeling from Germany and tenor Jan Vacik from the Czech Republic, on 12 November. The concerts will be complemented by the National Chamber Choir Madrigal – Marin Constantin from Romania, which will present an interesting musical-visual programme on 2 November.

In regard to the concerts at the Kolarac and Belgrade Philharmonic Hall, tickets will be available for sale in advance at their respective box offices from 7 to 14 October, exclusively as a single set for all concerts in the same hall, with a special 20% discount. At the end of the promotional period, individual ticket sales will begin from 15 October at the aforementioned box offices. Tickets will also be on sale online, via tickets.rs.
