The 6th Summit of 100 business leaders of Southeast Europe will take place in Skopje, Macedonia this year, on 16th and 17th October with the main goal of finding concrete ideas, projects, and suggestions for advancing the networking in the region in all aspects of economy and society.
This year’s summit is going to assemble over 150 of the most prominent business and political leaders from Southeast Europe, together with the special guests from the European Commission, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Investment Bank, Norden, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and many others with the aim of identifying key projects and ideas for development of the region of Southeast Europe.
The main topic of this year’s summit will be networking in all aspects, including transport and free cargo transport in the region, including the Green Balcanica project which goals are to have an electric mobility centre formed in Southeast Europe as a part of the European infrastructure grid, branding and promotion of the region, the mobility of the population in this part of Europe, energy, digitalization etc. The EU’s Transport Commissioner, Violeta Bulc will be the keynote speaker at this year’s Summit.
The summit of 100 business leaders aims at positioning regional cooperation as the key task for every regional government while identifying the key issues with the end goal of making a new deal for the new age that would boost the competitiveness of national economies and the potential of Southeast Europe.
The summit gathers the most prominent business leaders from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania.
