The maximum retail price of white crystal sugar, regardless of the package, must not exceed RSD 114.99 per kilogramme, it was decided on Monday by the Serbian government.
In addition, the government approved a decree that the maximum producer price of white crystal sugar, in packages of one kilogramme, five kilogrammes and ten kilogrammes, must not exceed 95 dinars per kilogramme.
“The maximum producer price of white crystal sugar for all other packages must not exceed 104.54 dinars per kilogramme,” the Decree states.
According to the previous regulation, the price of crystal sugar was limited to 109.9 per kilo.
Furthermore, the government has extended the validity of the Regulation on Capping Prices of Petroleum Products until the end of November. As of Friday, the retail price of petrol is 178 dinars per litre while the maximum price of diesel is 222 dinars per litre.
