Students training 15,000 election monitors

For a year now, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has been playing around with the date of the snap parliamentary and presidential elections. Judging by the authorities’ announcements that they will start distributing massive amounts of money from the budget starting in September, it seems they could indeed take place in the autumn.

Few believe that the Progressive regime will succumb to pressure from the European Union and improve the election conditions, which are tailored to pave the way for the Serbian Progressive Party’s victory. There is also a widespread opinion that if Aleksandar Vučić and his team in power dare to call early elections, they will certainly declare victory regardless of the actual result.

For this reason, the number of trained monitors at all polling stations is of crucial importance.

Students of the School of Electrical Engineering in blockade announced that 15,000 people are currently in some stage of training for election monitoring, and that they need 16,546 monitors for the whole of Serbia.

“We will also have our monitors in the permanent composition of the boards on behalf of the parties that support us, and we are very grateful to them for that,” they announced on the social media platform X.

They also wrote that their people will be in observation missions and that a significant number of people will be in front of polling stations in all necessary roles. “There will be monitoring, stronger than ever,” the students said.
