Students in the blockade have announced that, starting tomorrow through 30 August, they will be holding talks with citizens through a “door-to-door” campaign and at information stalls across around twenty municipalities and cities in Serbia.
As reported by the website blokade.org, they stated that “victory does not happen in a single square, in a single day, on a stage in front of a microphone.”
“It is pieced together bit by bit – in Aleksinac by the fountain, in Pirot at the Red Square, in Osečina, in Vrčin, in Vršac, in every street we step into,” they said.
According to the post, every place they reach and every door they knock on is “part of the same victory that is built from small steps, patiently and persistently.”
From 28 to 30 August, they will be in Aleksinac, Pirot, the Belgrade neighbourhoods of Medaković, Banjica, Borča, Vrčin, Zvezdara, and Vračar, as well as in Osečina, Blace, and Niš.
They will also be present in Vršac, Bačka Palanka, Beočin, the municipality of Zrenjanin, Teočin, Brajići, Leušići and Srezojevci, in Rasna (Požega), and Požarevac.
“See you across the whole of Serbia!”, the students declared, according to the website.
