The 26th edition of the Street Musicians Festival will feature Krešimir Mišak Fingerpicking & NLObless Band, Eva Braun, Maršali, and other domestic acts. This year’s festival will last for just one night, on Thursday, 17th September, and the programme will take place across three locations: the Prota Mihaldžić point, the Prota Mihaldžić stage, and Lisinski Street.
The start is scheduled for 7 pm.
Eva Braun is one of the most prominent bands on the Vojvodina and domestic pop-rock scene. Formed in 1991 in Bečej, over the course of more than three decades the band has built a distinct signature style, rooted in the tradition of the English pop sound. At the Street Musicians Festival, the melodic core of Eva Braun, Vaske and Albert, will perform the group’s most famous songs in somewhat stripped-down arrangements.
Krešimir Mišak Fingerpicking & NLObless Band is a Zagreb-Sombor collaboration that adapts American roots music for local audiences. The foundation of their sound is the fingerpicking guitar technique, while their musical expression ranges from the sound of New Orleans, folk and country, through blues and rockabilly, all the way to swing.
Maršali are also arriving at the Street Musicians Festival on Thursday, 17th September. This Bečej-based band was formed in early 2023, and in a short space of time managed to attract the attention of the domestic music scene. In their very first year of existence, they were named the best high school band at the Rock Serbika competition, and since then they have racked up performances and released original songs.
As they previously announced on their Instagram profile, due to reduced funding, the Festival will last for just one night for the first time.
A detailed programme can be found on the Festival’s official Instagram page.
