“At the beginning of September, the Ministry of Energy will launch the first public call for tenders to subsidise the installation of solar panels in houses, and later this year, there will be another public call for tenders to help with the modernisation of houses,” said Energy Minister Zorana Mihajlović.
She added that the public call for tenders for solar panels would be conducted again through local administrations. Mihajlović announced that a new call for tenders will be announced in December and this tender pertains to the replacement of doors, windows and insulation in residential buildings.
“This is a big nation-wide project that will last for several years. Next year, we will allocate €100 million to the refurbishment of houses. There will be more public tenders, so that those homeowners who did not insulate their houses, buildings or flats in the previous 10, 20 or more years, will now be able to do so,” the Energy Minister added.
The public call for tenders for 2022 will be launched in March next year.
