State authorities selling Slavija Hotel in Belgrade

The Ministry of Economy has launched a call for submission of bids for the sale of the 100% state share in the Slavija Hotel in Belgrade, through the method of public bidding, at an initial price of EUR 24.9 million.

Interested bidders may file their bids by November 24 and the opening of the bids is scheduled for November 28.

The bidding documentation will be available for purchase from October 4 at the price of 150,000 dinars. The selected buyer will have to pay the full price in a single payment.

Eligible bidders can be local or foreign legal or natural persons.

As specified, the requirements for taking part in this public bidding entail that a bidder has to prove that it had an operating income of at least EUR 50 million in 2022 and that posted a profit in 2022.

If an investment fund wants to participate in the bidding, it has to have total assets worth at least EUR 250 million in 2022, whereas a natural person must have monetary funds of at least EUR 25 million at their disposal.

Consortiums of legal and/or natural persons can also bid for the hotel.

The three-star Slavija Hotel is located in the very centre of Belgrade, close to St. Sava Church and has 184 rooms.
