As of 1 June, the ban on mass gatherings, which until now, stipulated that only a limited number of people was allowed in a given area, should be lifted, which would mean that public will be allowed to watch sports matches on stadiums.
Sporting events will be held again from June 1st with spectators, but on condition that fans keep at least one-metre-distance from each other.
At the last meeting, the government’s Crisis Unit discussed the relaxation of preventive measures relating to public meetings, including the presence of spectators at sports events, and it was agreed to implement a new set of recommendations from June 1.

Other measures could include lifting of the ban on outdoor gatherings, so that there is no longer a numerical limit. However, the recommendation for people to keep a one-metre-distance remains in place.
According to experts, sports can slowly return to normal, which means that fans can return to the stadiums.
