A one-day event called the Serbian Film Night will take place on June 5th, in over 40 local cinemas in 32 towns across Serbia. Four Serbian feature films and four short films will be showcased that night – the Serbian Film Centre announces.
The following popular films will be screened – “Južni Vetar”, directed by Miloš Avramović, “Taksi Bluz” by Miroslav Stamatov, “Kralj Petar I” directed by Petar Ristovski and children’s film “Zlogonja”, directed by Rajko Miljkovic.
The aim of the event is the popularization of Serbian film, with the emphasis on the films supported at the competition launched by the Serbian Film Centre, as well as the desire to make contemporary Serbian film production inspirational and accessible to a large number of viewers, especially young people.
The tickets for this event cost 100 dinars apiece.
The Serbian Film Night will be held in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš, Pančevo, Lazarevac, Zrenjanin, Futog, Obrenovac, Subotica, Trstenik, Gračanica, Palić, Čačak, Loznica, Gornji Milanovac, Požarevac, Negotino, Arandjelovac, Ivanjica, Kragujevac , Smederevo, Šabac, Kruševac, Kraljevo, Vrnjačka Banja, Leskovac, Ruma, Jagodina, Vrbas, Mionica, Pirot and Arilje.
