The Serbian government’s crisis response team decided on Monday to ease the measures introduced to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, allowing cafes and restaurants to stay open up to 1:00 am.
Minister of Labour, Employment, Veterans Affairs and Social Policy Darija Kisic Tepavcevic told reporters that movie theatres can start their last shows of the day at 11:00 pm and that newsstands can stay open to midnight.
She said that up to 200 people can attend indoor congresses and that Serbian nationals will no longer be able to get free PCR tests for trips to Germany.
Asked about the Red Star – Buducnost football match which was attended by several thousand spectators, the minister said the football clubs in questions acted irresponsibly.
“It was irresponsible, impermissible and sad,” she said, adding that the public should behave responsibly and not go to similar events.
Kisic Tepavcevic also called young people over the age of 16 to get vaccinated.
