Director of the State Geodetic Authority (RGA), Borko Draskovic, and the deputy mayor of Cacak, Milica Dacic, signed an agreement in Belgrade stipulating cooperation with the aim of supporting the RGA in establishing the National Register of Investment Maps (NRIM).
The goal of the register is to build the capacities of the selected local self-government units and to stimulate economic development.
The establishment of the NRIM will be implemented out through the project called “Improvement of the Business Climate in Serbia”, which is being realized by the RGA and ten local self-government units and financed by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, Moravainfo reports.

Once the project is implemented, the register will be available to all citizens and potential local and foreign investors and contain accurate and reliable data about investment locations.
The project worth over EUR 2 million will be realized over the next two years.
The project was prepared after the successful implementation of the pilot project by the RGA in collaboration with the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure for the urban areas of Kikinda and Vladicin Han, which investment location maps have already been uploaded to the GeoSrbija digital platform.
