Serbia ranks 61st in the world in military power

According to the Global Firepower annual report assessing the military strength of countries, Serbia is ranked 61 of 142 out of the countries considered for the annual review.

The Global Firepower ranking utilizes over 50 individual factors to determine a nation’s PowerIndex score with categories ranging from military might and financials to logistical capability and geography.

Serbia is ranked as the strongest military power in the region and it is said that its military strength is on an upward trend. It is followed by Croatia (62), Bulgaria (67), Montenegro (132), North Macedonia (135) and Albania (115).

First on the list is the USA, followed by Russia, China and India. Japan, South Korea, France, Great Britain, Pakistan and Brazil are also in the top 10

Turkey and Iran are positioned in 13th and 14th place respectively, reports Beta news agency.
