The National Tourism Board of China ranked Serbia among the 10 best winter holiday destinations, said the Tourism Organization of Serbia (TOS); side by side with Canada, Switzerland, Finland, Alaska, Austria, Norway and Italy.
Due to the current situation, caused by the coronavirus, more than 20,000 people attended the online award ceremony.

“Based on its impact and influence in the Chinese market, as well as its rich tourist offer, Serbia has proven to have a good promotion plan recognized by Chinese tourists,” said the TOS.
In January this year, the number of tourists from China in Serbia increased by 145% compared to the same period last year.
“For TOS, this recognition is yet another validation that once the crisis caused by the coronavirus is over, we will again be able to count on the great interest of tourists from China,” the TOS adds.
