The second “Night of Music”, which will take place on the Tasmajdan stadium in Belgrade on 1st September, will take the audience on a musical trip around the world.
“The RTS Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, conducted by maestro Bojan Sudjic, will take the audience on a whirlwind musical trip around the world. We are going to perform the music from Europe, America, the Middle and Far East, and have special guests too”, says Monika Lasanc from the RTS music production department.
She adds that the orchestra and the choir will perform music from over 20 countries.
“We are going to play Syrtaki, Can-Can, Mariachi music, Italian canzone, and, of course, Serbian music”, Lasanc adds.
The Radio and Television of Serbia’s Philharmonic Orchestra and the Choir, plus the children choir Kolibri, will all perform at the event which starts at 8:30 pm. The entrance is free.
Last year, the event was attended by over 15,000 visitors. Also, there is a talk of the Belgrade government placing several video beams across the city so that other Belgradians can enjoy in the music too.
