Sava Centre to officially open on November 14th

The congress and business segments of the Sava Centre are in the final stage of reconstruction and will officially open on November 14th.

On the same day, the first event, the European Conference of Nutritionists with more than 1,500 participants, will take place in this biggest congress centre in Southeast Europe.

The opening comes exactly three years after the Delta Real Estate Company became the owner of this facility via a public tender. The renovation began in December 2021 and the total investment is estimated at over 118 million euros.

The congress section of the Sava Centre spans 65,000 square metres, it consists of 46 halls (instead of the previous 16), including the renowned Main Congress Hall, the place of some of the most important gatherings in the history of Belgrade, Serbia and the former Yugoslavia. A special attraction of the Sava Centre will be the immersive hall, unique in this region.

Class A business premises and a shopping area with a restaurant and famous brands shops were renovated too.

The Sava Centre renovation was carried out in two phases, in the same way as this building was built. The reconstruction of the famous Blue Hall will continue according to plan until the middle of 2024 and its capacity will be increased from 3,672 to 4,000 visitors.
