The Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development, Branko Ružić, said that the vaccination against the coronavirus in Serbia has given positive results and that he believes that the new school year will start in the autumn in a regular manner, as before the outbreak.
He added that the recommendations of the government’s Crisis Response Team will be followed, while underlining that the education system has proved that it is not one of the places where the transmission of the virus takes place easily.
“We have put a lot of effort into it and are ready for any solution,” Ruzic said, responding to a journalist’s question. On the occasion of the entrance exams for high school students, the Minister said that schools are ready for them, and that those who abuse the tests will be “punished drastically”.
