The International Film Festival “The Russian Film Days” will take place in early July in two Serbian cities – Belgrade and Nis.
In Belgrade, the festival will be officially opened on 4th July at the Yugoslav Film Archive.
The festival’s programme will feature eight contemporary Russian films. The film “We will not say goodbye”, directed by Pavel Drozdov, will open the festival. Serbia is only the second country in which this Russian film is screened.
The famous Russian directors, representatives of the Russian Embassy in Serbia, the Russian Centre of Science and Culture, as well as representatives of the Serbian film industry and official representatives of the government will all attend the opening ceremony.
In addition to film screenings, actors and directors with the audiences during the festival, and there will also be press conferences and round table discussions with film professionals.
The “Russian Film Days” Festival in Serbia aims to establish new links with the Russian creative and business elite, to strengthen cooperation in the field of film industry, to expand cultural exchanges and to create a positive image of Russia as a strategic partner of Serbia.
