The Romanian National Centre for Supervision and Control of Infectious Diseases (CNSU) has updated the list of countries or areas with a high epidemiological risk from Covid-19, based on which the quarantine measures are imposed. Serbia is now included in the so-called green list, the best of all lists.
Also, Germany has removed Serbia and other Western Balkan countries from the so-called red list of the countries with a high travel risk due to the coronavirus.
In addition to Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia are no longer treated as high-risk countries.
The removal from the list of high-risk countries facilitates travel to Germany, that is, removes all the epidemiological “obstacles”.
The new rules apply from Sunday, the Robert Koch Institute announced in its press release.
The removal of Serbia and other Western Balkans countries will also influence other EU states, namely, Austria, which has decided to set its entry rules based on the German institute’s list.
