The centenary of the birth of the famous Swedish director and screenwriter, Ingmar Bergman will be marked in the Yugoslav Film Archive that will showcase his restored films from October 16th to 21st.
The revue starts at 7 pm at the Film Archive, 1, Uzun Mirkova Street, with Bergman’s farewell film “Saraband” (2003).
The next day, on Wednesday, October 17th, there will be a panel discussion about Bergman’s work (at 19h), followed by the screening of the film “Persona” (at 20h).
On Thursday, there will be the screening of “Wild Strawberries” (at 20h), and on Friday, the audiences will be able to watch “Autumn Sonata” (at 20h).
On Saturday, October 20th, we will be able to see two films: “The Seventh Seal” (at 18h) and “Summer with Monika” (at 20h). One of the most famous Bergman’s films “Fanny and Alexander” will close the revue on Sunday, October 21st, at 20h. Before that, there will be the screening of the documentary “Bergman Island” (2004), directed by Marie Nyrerod, at 6 pm.
