Public calls for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises launched

The Ministry of Economy has launched three calls for application for financial support to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners, for which a total of RSD 450 million has been allocated this year.

Public calls for participation in the Programme of Inciting the Development of Entrepreneurship through Financial Support for Female Entrepreneurs and Youth, the Programme of Inciting the Development of Entrepreneurship through Financial Support for Beginners in Business and the Programme of Inciting Small Business Owners through Developmental Projects have been launched.

The programmes are implemented by the Ministry of Economy and the Development Fund and they are a combination of grants and favourable loans granted by the Fund.

The Ministry of Economy has set aside RSD 100 million in grants for the programme that will support female entrepreneurs and young entrepreneurs who are beginners in business, which will be implemented for the first time this year.

When it comes to the programme that assists beginners in business, a total of RSD 150 million has been set aside for grants, while RSD 200 million has been allocated for the programme of inciting entrepreneurship through developmental projects.

The remaining amount will be available through loans granted by the Development Fund.

The public calls are open until the available funds are spent but no later than December 31, 2021.
