Antenna Group announced today that it has reached an agreement with entrepreneur Srdjan Milovanovic on the takeover of 100 per cent of the founding rights of the Antenna Group in Serbia and Montenegro.
Antenna Group owns Prva Televizija (Prva TV), O2 TV, Prva TV Montenegro, Play Radio, six cable channels and three web portals: Prva.rs, O2tv.rs and B92.net. The acquisition value is EUR 180 million.
Srdjan Milovanović is the former co-owner of Kopernikus Technology, the second largest cable operator in Serbia, which Telekom Srbija recently bought for around EUR 190 million.

The Antenna Group announced that the change of founding rights is part of the company’s business strategy that will focus further on the development of its core business.
“We are pleased that we have chosen the right owner under whose leadership the company will continue growing and further solidifying its position as the market leader”, said Theodore Kyriakou, the owner of the Antenna Group.
New owner Srdjan Milovanovic announced that his goals and plans will be toward “further development of this reputable media house, increasing production capacity and expanding the media platform,” and that he would realize “ambitious plans to solidify the company’s leadership position with the same team of people applicable who are top professionals and one of the best in the local media industry.”
