Fiat’s production lines will not work until November 4, when workers will return from paid holidays, said the Independent Trade Union of the Kragujevac factory. The last working day for employees of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Serbia was October 18.
According to the union president Zoran Markovic, the new break is “the result of the discrepancy between supply and demand” and the fact that the “FCA” does not produce cars to make “stockpiles”.

Markovic said that there were several working days in October that were “lost” due to problems with suppliers. Fiat workers were also on paid leave from September 19 to October 1 this year.
