The Serbian Ministry of Economy of Serbia has announced the launch of a new tender for the sale of Port of Novi Sad (Luka Novi Sad) at an initial price of 7.99 million euro.
At the previous tender, the initial price was twice as high – 15.98 million euro, but no bids were received for the purchase of a 99.4 percent share in the company, although the deadlines for submission of bids were extended twice.
Companies that are eligible to submit their bids are those that have continuously performed port activities in the past ten years and that generated the revenue of at least 30 million euro in 2017. Also, they would have had to reload at least 1.4 million tonnes in each of the past three years.
Deadline for submission of bids for participation in a public auction for the sale of Novi Sad’s port is January 18th, 2019, and the bids will be opened on January 22nd.
