Strong police forces smashed windows at the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade and entered the building at around 2 a.m., students of the faculty reported on social media.
Student parliament elections had previously been held at the Faculty of Medicine, and our portal reports that the vote was rigged. “After a recount, the Sinapsa student list confirmed victory. Medicinski Krug acknowledged defeat and signed the official record.”
Students claim that the elections are the reason behind the police entry, and they directly accuse Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar of ordering the police action.
