PEPCO clothing chain opens its first two stores in Belgrade

The largest non-food retail chain in Europe, PEPCO, will open its first two stores in Belgrade on October 23; one in the Stadion shopping centre and one in the BIG Shopping Centre in Rakovica. The Polish PEPCO plans to open 30 stores in Serbia during its first year here.

The chain currently has over 2,000 stores in Europe and sells a variety of products, including men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, footwear, fashion accessories, toys, decorative products, fabrics, home furnishings …

Clothing and footwear make up about 60% of the chain’s product offer, while household products make up the remaining share.

“The PEPCO product range is designed to offer customers numerous shopping opportunities and all the products they want and need for daily life, from clothing for the whole family to home décor and equipment at affordable prices. We are confident that the products we offer will please our new customers in Belgrade, “said Marcin Stańko, the company’s director for Central and Eastern Europe.

The company currently operates in 12 European countries: the Czech Republic, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania and Bulgaria, and from September, in Italy.

The PEPCO brand was launched in Poland in 2004 and has over 19 million customers every month.
