The Interior Ministry has announced that, by order of Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin, the working hours of counters at police stations that issue personal documents such as ID cards, passports and others will change due to the growing interest of Serbian citizens and the upcoming holiday season.
As of tomorrow, June 1, working hours will be longer on weekdays and Saturdays. Also, some counters will be open on Sundays.
“As of May 29, counters will be open on Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Citizens can schedule their appointments online or in person or pick up personal documents at the Novi Beograd Police Station, SIV-3 on 1, Omladinskih Brigada Street and the one at 12a, Ljermontova Street. In Novi Sad, the personal document counters at the police station at 143, Bulevar Oslobođenja will be open too on Sunday,” the press release reads.
As of June 5, 2022, on Sundays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., citizens will be able to apply for personal documents at the Niš Police Administration, at MK Filip Kljajić, 9a, Vojvode Tankosića Street, and at the Kragujevac Police Administration, at 3, Trg Slobode. Working hours are also extended Niš, Smederevo, Šabac, Vranje, Jagodina, Zrenjanin, and Pančevo police stations.
